New Products
Where do we start with new product this week, we have almost too many wonderful products to count! We added many Swarovski styles including the brand new Avante Garde Pendant, and the Flat Briolette in two great sizes. We also added the 3 and 8mm 5810 round pearls in Powder Rose. Visit the New Swarovski Additions section of Swarovski Beads to see these instant classics. We also added 12 beautiful new Chandelier Earring styles including filigree vermeil and sterling silver ornate chandeliers. You loved the Thai silver Embellishment Rings so much, we are adding sizes 4 and 9 to the line-up. We also brought on a new Hill Tribe silver Spirit Lock. With all the multi-strand and mixed materials designs we are adding, you won’t want to miss our new Fiber Cards. Each card has 4 yards each of 6 different fibers to mix into your designs. Have fun with form and color with these inexpensive fibers. As if all this was not enough, we are adding 59 new Ceramic Pendants! That’s right 59 new pendants in solid colors and intricate designs. Q: What’s behind the recent price changes in many of your products?
A: Skyrocketing silver and gold prices are the main reason prices have been revised. In the past year, silver has doubled and gold is markedly higher. Manufacturers are naturally passing cost increases onto their distributors, such as Artbeads.com. Reluctantly and regrettably, we must respond with higher prices for products containing precious metals. At the same time, the dollar has weakened considerably, making imported items, such as Swarovski crystal beads, more expensive to US consumers. Various other factors also conspire to put upward pressure on pricing. Even though we have had to raise prices on some items, Artbeads.com prices remain competitive, if not lower than most of our competitors.
