Q: Why is Soft Flex® labeled clear when it's silver?
A: When it comes to nylon-coated steel stringing material, the color name
refers to the color of the nylon. In this case, the nylon is clear, and
the silver color is the steel wires. The exception to this are metallic
colors, like gold, which are plated onto the steel wires and then coated
