Peach Patina Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
The peach has long been the symbol of longevity, and patina pieces are able to stand the test of time. Celebrate everlasting love that knows no bounds with this sweet, sparkling bracelet balanced by elegant crystal pearls and unique copper accents. It's a wonderful twist on traditional romantic designs!
Step one: Cut eight strands of crystal fireline thread approximately 24 inches long each. The length should be about three times longer than your desired length of bracelet.
Step two: Follow the steps in our Handy Tip on kumihimo braiding with beads to create the braided part of the bracelet. Each cord will have 19 beads each—two for each color listed below:

Step three: Open the 'eye' portion of one TierraCast copper 2-inch, 21 gauge eye pin and then thread it through the knot at the end of the braid. Close the eye. Cut a new strand of fireline and wrap it around the braid to secure the eye pin. Cut the braid and the excess thread. You may want to add a dab of adhesive to secure the knots. If so, allow it to dry before moving on to step four.
Step four: Slide one Patricia Healey Copper large drum end cap, one Swarovski 6mm faceted round in Rose Peach and one 4mm faceted round in Crystal AB onto the eye pin. Attach the eye pin to one half of the Patricia Healey Copper heart toggle clasp using a wrapped loop.
Step five: Repeat steps three and four on the other end of the braid to finish the design.
