Step one:
Use a small amount of fuchsia DeCoRé crafters clay to fill the center of the Nunn Design silver-plated pewter large framed oval link. If you need help using DeCoRé clay, read our Handy Tip here. Press the TierraCast antique silver-plated pewter wing charms, the Swarovski 17mm Crazy 4 U heart pendant in Jet and fourteen Swarovski 3mm XILION chatons in Crystal into the clay in the arrangement shown in our image. Allow the clay to cure.
Step two:
Thread one sterling silver 1-inch, 20 gauge eye pin with the following:
one Swarovski 4mm briolette bead in Crystal AB
one Swarovski 10mm faceted round in Montana Sapphire
one 4mm briolette bead in Crystal AB
Finish the eye pin with a simple loop. Learn how to make a simple loop by reading our Handy Tip. Step 4 in this Handy Tip will teach how to turn the simple loop into a link, which you will need to know how to do later in the instructions. Repeat this step three times and set all aside.
Step three:
Thread one eye pin with the following:
one TierraCast silver antique small Turkish heishi spacer
one Swarovski 6mm briolette bead in Crystal AB
one spacer
Finish the eye pin with a simple loop. Repeat this step once more and set both aside.
Step four:
Cut the gunmetal-plated big, medium and small oval link chain into two 10 1/2-inch strands. Set aside.
Step five:
Attach the loop portion of the JBB gunmetal-plated pewter outline heart toggle clasp to the end of one chain using a 6mm gunmetal-plated 18 gauge open jump ring. Learn how to open and close a jump ring by watching our Handy Tip video. Then, utilizing the eye pin loops and jump rings, add the following components to the open end of the chain in this order:
one gunmetal-plated open jump ring
one Montana Sapphire link (created in step two)
one Crystal AB link (created in step three)
one Montana Sapphire link
one sterling silver open jump ring
the framed oval focal
Step seven:
Reverse the pattern on the other side of the framed oval link, and then add the second chain strand and bar portion of the toggle as before to complete the necklace.
