Welcome warm weather with these vintage-inspired earrings that cast a romantic, neutral tone. The town of San Juan celebrates the return of its swallows to the San Juan Capistrano Mission, a sure sign that spring is on its way, with an annual parade. Whether you can smell the sweet spring air or only see sights of snow, these delightful earrings will add warmth to your wardrobe.
Step one:
Cut one piece of satin Hamilton gold-plated leaf chain approximately 1 inch long.
Step two:
Thread one Swarovski 5mm round pearl in Powder Rose onto one gold-filled 2-inch head pin. Repeat two more times. Attach each head pin to the leaf chain with a wrapped loop technique spacing them evenly across.
Step three:
Attach one Kabela antique brass sparrow charm to a 4.5mm antique brass-plated brass 21 gauge open jump ring. Watch our Handy Tip video on how to use jump rings if you need help. Attach one JBB antique brass-plated brass flower with looped vines 1 ring pendant to the same jump ring so that the bird charm sits on top of the pendant, with their stringing holes aligned.
Step four:
Attach the open jump ring to one end of the leaf chain. Attach the leaf chain, to one gold-filled 027 earwire.
Repeat this process for the second earring.
