The desert dandelion displays its cheerful yellow bloom in places where more delicate flowers would die from thirst. In times of abundant water, these flowers can blanket the desert floor. Create your own spot of sunshine with these playful Desert Dandelion earrings. They are simple and easy to make.
Step one: Connect a sterling silver French hook earwire with coil to the top loop of a 6-loop flower link. Use a 3.55mm sterling silver open jump ring to attach the bottom loop of the flower link to a Swarovski 6mm silver-plated channel link in Topaz. Use another jump ring to attach the remaining loop on the channel link to the top loop of a second flower link. For help using jump rings, visit our Handy Tips video.
Step two: Use jump rings to attach 3mm aqua-lined yellow TOHO™ magatama beads to every flower loop not already in use. Repeat steps one and two to create the second earring.
