A Night in Tunisia Earrings Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
The iridescent crystals within these earrings are placed against an elegant black backdrop reminiscent of the night sky. As you create them, imagine being able to spend a warm evening along the Tunisian coastline watching the sun set over the Mediterranean.
Step one: Mix a small amount of the DeCoRé crafters clay in jet together as described in the DeCoRé Handy Tip. Apply a gently mounded section of clay to the recess of a DeCoRé drop earring. Smooth out any fingerprints.
Step two: Press a Swarovski 9mm briolette pendant in Crystal AB into the center of the clay so that a little more than half of the pendant is still above the surface. Repeat steps one and two for the remaining earring.
Step three: Let the earrings cure in a horizontal position for 24 hours, and then wash them gently with water to remove any film that the clay may have left on the surface of the briolette pendants. Dry with a soft cloth.
