Shade Garden Earrings Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
When your fashion forecast calls for partly-sunny, brighten it up with these fun dangle earrings! The warm yellow and blue pattern softened by brown and silver results in a thunderstorm of style.
Step one: Mix a small amount of burgundy DeCoRé crafters clay and press it into the center of one JBB antique silver-plated pewter heart shaped picture frame. Read our Handy Tip to learn how to use epoxy clay.
Step two: Press one Swarovski 8mm margarita bead in Crystal AB and three Swarovski 3mm XILION chatons in Blue Zircon into the clay. Let the clay cure.
Step three: Thread the following pattern of components onto one 22 gauge sterling silver 1 1/2 inch eye pin:
one Swarovski 4mm XILION bicone in Jonquil
one TierraCast 5mm antique silver-plated pewter crown heishi spacer
one Swarovski 6mm faceted round in Indicolite
one spacer
one Jonquil bicone
Finish with a simple loop. Attach one end to a 0.90x4.60mm sterling silver open jump ring and the other end to one 0.90x5.95mm sterling silver open jump ring. Watch our Handy Tip video if you need help with jump rings.
Step four: Connect the larger jump ring to the heart shaped picture frame and the smaller jump ring to one sterling silver earwire with gold-filled ball.
Repeat these steps to create a second earring.
