Rows of rhinestones glitter like diamonds and amethysts at the center of this contemporary Purple Pavé ring. The DeCoRé crafters clay makes it easy to set each sparkling flatback wherever you like. And if you place one in the wrong position, it's easy to readjust! Make this design in no time at all for a fun gift or a treat for yourself.
Step one: Mix a small amount of the DeCoRé crafters clay in purple velvet together as described in the DeCoRé Handy Tip. Apply a gently mounded section of clay to the recess of the DeCoRé adjustable drop ring. Smooth out any fingerprints.
Step two: Press the flatbacks into the clay in the pattern of your choice. We made the Swarovski SS34 XILION rose flatback in Purple Velvet the focal and placed five Swarovski SS16 XILION rose flatbacks in Purple Velvet and twenty-five Swarovski SS7 XILION rose flatbacks in Crystal Moonlight around it.
Step three: Let the ring cure in a horizontal position for 24 hours, and then wash it gently with water to remove any film that the clay may have left on the surface of the flatbacks. Dry with a soft cloth.
