With an eastern European influence sprinkled inside its shape, this bright floral piece is ideal for a summer vacation or to keep spring time on your mind. It's simple to make but makes a lasting impression on an outfit!
Step one:
Use 5-minute two-part epoxy to glue the Lillypilly 19mm lime green flower and scroll aluminum round embellishment to the center of the Nunn Design silver-plated pewter double-sided circle pendant and allow the piece to dry. Attach one 1.0x9.0mm sterling silver open jump ring to the loop on the pendant. Watch our Handy Tip video to learn how to open and close a jump ring. Set pendant aside.
Step two:
Thread one Swarovski 6mm XILION bicone in Peridot AB onto one 1 1/2-inch, sterling silver 24 gauge head pin and finish the top with a wrapped loop. Repeat this three times then replicate this step using 6mm bicones in Padparadscha, for a total of eight wrapped loop dangles. Set all aside.
Step three:
Cut one strand of jewelry wire approximately 20 inches long (or the desired length of the necklace). Use one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube to connect the wire to one 0.90x6.10mm sterling silver open jump ring. Then, connect the jump ring to the bar portion of the antique silver-plated pewter circle with sun toggle. Learn how to use crimp tubes by reading our Handy Tip.
Step four:
String the following pattern onto the wire:
one TierraCast rhodium 7mm nugget heishi spacer
one Peridot AB bicone
one Padparadscha bicone
one Peridot AB bicone
one spacer
one Czech glass blue Picasso finish elongated diamond bead
Repeat four times, and then add three more spacers.
Step five:
Add four dangles, then the pendant, then the remaining dangles, creating a cluster around the pendant.
Step six:
Reverse the order of step four to finish the strand. Then, use a second crimp tube and jump ring to add the loop portion of the clasp to the open end.
