For fun summer style snag this trendy necklace idea. The swirls of bright colors that reflect a tropical sunset are brought together by contrasting elements like silk and crystal for a truly unique style.
Step one: Cut each hand-dyed silk strand in half. Attach one half of each color to a single JBB 5mm antique brass leaves swivel end cap using 5-minute two-part epoxy. Read our Handy Tip on how to use an end cap if you need help. Repeat this process with the remaining silk strands and end cap and allow them to dry.
Step two: Cut one piece of jewelry wire approximately 10 inches long. Connect one end to one 5.5mm antique brass-plated 21 gauge open jump ring using one 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube. Step three: String the following pattern onto the wire:

Step four: Pass the jewelry wire through the left loop of the orange peak wood pendant. String five more deco cubes and then pass the wire through the right loop of the wood pendant.
Step five: String the pattern from Step three backwards to create a mirror image, and then finish the wire with a second crimp tube, crimp cover and jump ring.

Step seven: Add one antique brass-plated pewter cylinder tube bead with flower design to the ribbon ends to hold all three colors together.
