Whether you live in real life or just fantasy, this beautiful silhouette of ancient fashion is just too elegant and easy to not create!
Step one:
Read our Handy Tip on how to do a two-seed-bead back stitch to embellish the Golem Design Studio stoneware brown with pink and tan flowers round cabochon. Add a second layer of Lacy's Stiff Stuff or use a piece of felt from a craft store to hide the stitching. Then, read our Handy Tip to learn how to create a sunshine edge to finish the cabochon.
Step two:
Glue the TierraCast antique copper "heart bail" glue pad to the finished cabochon using 5-minute two-part epoxy. Allow the glue to dry.
Step three:
Cut three strands of jewelry wire approximately 21 inches long. Attach one end from each strand to its own 4mm copper-plated 18 gauge open jump ring using a 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube. Read our Handy Tip on how to use a crimp tube if you need help.
Step four:
String a random pattern of 3mm dark brown Druk beads, 3mm copper-plated Druk beads, Swarovski 3mm XILION bicones in Indian Pink and Swarovski 4mm XILION bicones in Lime onto each wire. When you reach the center of the strands, thread the pendant bail onto all three strands. Finish the strands with more Druk beads and bicones in a random fashion. Use bead stoppers where needed to hold your beads in place as you work.
Step five:
Attach the finished wire strands to a second set of jump rings using crimp tubes.
Step six:
Connect all three strands together using one 8mm antique copper-plated open jump ring on each end. Watch our Handy Tip video to learn how to open and close a jump ring.
Step seven:
Attach the loop portion of the JBB antique copper-plated pewter flower toggle clasp to one 8mm jump ring from Step seven and the bar portion to the other 8mm jump ring.
