Prepare for spring's arrival with this simple necklace design. Its stamped bird pendant and delicate blue color scheme will lift your looks with fashionable flair.
Step one:
Use the Metal Complex 3mm lower case 27 pc. Elegant metal stamp set to stamp "fly" onto the Nunn Design antique silver-plated pewter small circle bird tag. For help on how to stamp metal, read our Handy Tip in the Learning Center. Attach it to a .030x.270mm sterling silver open jump ring. Learn how to open and close jump rings by watching our Handy Tip video in the Learning Center.
Step two:
Attach one Swarovski 6mm XILION pendant in Denim Blue to one 0.65x4.6mm sterling silver open jump ring. Attach two Swarovski 7mm briolette pendants in Crystal to another jump ring. Connect the two jump rings to a single sterling silver medium closed jump ring. Repeat this step.
Step three:
String the bird tag onto the 32 inch royal blue silk ribbon. Hold the tag in place by stringing one 925/10 silver-filled 6mm smooth round bead onto each side of the bird tag and then string the Swarovski accents from step two on either side of the silver-filled beads. Next string one 925/10 silver-filled 7mm smooth round bead onto each end of the ribbon and finish with a knot after each bead.
