Forbidden Romance Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Express modern love with old fashioned flair from this darkly romantic necklace. The black finish pewter components paired with bursts of fiery color help ignite the passion captured in the beautiful focal pendant.
Step one: Cut the gunmetal-plated big, medium and small oval link chain into two 11-inch pieces and two 2-inch pieces.
Step two: Attach the TierraCast black finish pewter sacred heart milagro charm to two 6mm gunmetal-plated 18 gauge open jump rings like a chain and the TierraCast black finish pewter fleur-de-lis key charm to a single 6mm jump ring. Connect the two charms together by attaching them to one 8mm gunmetal-plated 18 gauge open jump ring. For help using jump rings, watch our Handy Tip video in the Learning Center.
Step three: Thread one 2-inch gunmetal-plated 20 gauge eye pin with one TierraCast 7mm black finish pewter plain heishi spacer, the Man & Woman at a Casementby Filippo Lippi on black onyx rectangle bead and another spacer. Finish with a simple loop and attach the loop to one 6mm open jump ring. Attach the 8mm jump ring from Step two to the bottom part of the eye pin.
Step four: Attach one 6mm jump ring to each end of the 2-inch chains and connect these jump rings to the single jump ring attached to the simple loop from Step three.
Step five: Connect one eye pin to the open ends of each chain. Thread one Swarovski 16mm cubist bead in Crystal Copper onto each eye pin, finish with a simple loop and connect each loop to one 6mm jump ring.
Step six: Attach one 11-inch chain to one of the jump rings from Step five and the other 11-inch chain to the other jump ring. Connect one chain end to the key portion of the TierraCast black finish pewter lock and key toggle clasp using an 8mm jump ring, and connect the lock portion of the clasp to the other chain end using a second 8mm jump ring.
