Following the hot candy-colored fashion trend, this bold necklace is full of bright beautiful colors with a lightweight feel.
Step one:
Attach the Golem Design Studio bright green butterfly pendant to the TierraCast antique silver-plated pewter spiral pinch bail. Simply open the bail, slide the pendant on and close.
Step two:
Cut one piece of jewelry wire approximately 9.5 inches long.
Step three:
Attach one end of the wire to one 1.27x7.0mm sterling silver open jump ring using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube. Read our Handy Tip on how to use a crimp tube.
Step four:
String an alternating pattern of three déoupage red sunburst small coin beads and three Grace Lampwork turquoise and sand with orange flower mix pillow beads onto the wire, beginning with a coin bead. Add the butterfly pendant and then create a mirror image. Finish the open end with a second jump ring and crimp tube.
Step five:
Attach one end from each hand-dyed silk ribbon to its own jump ring using a 4x4mm sterling silver crimp tube, using chain nose pliers to crimp. Twist the ribbons together and then finish the other ends the same as before.
Step six:
Connect one jump ring from each ribbon to the left jump ring on the wire. Repeat this process for the other side. Watch our Jump Ring Handy Tip Video if you need help with jump rings.
