Make a quick and simple necklace with dramatic sparkle! This Margarite Filigree Daisy necklace is full of vintage flair with Kabela brass components and SilverSilk, brought together with a feminine touch in its floral shapes and Swarovski crystals.
Step one: Use the 5-Minute Two-Part Epoxy to glue each Swarovski 15.5mm flat briolette in Olivine to the Kabela Design antique brass flower filigree. Cluster them together in the center, each pointing inward, to create a flower shape. Glue the Swarovski 14mm margarita bead in Crystal Vitrail Medium to the center of your shape, and apply a small drop of epoxy to the back of the filigree for an extra hold. Be sure to suspend your pendant while it dries. If you rest the back of the pendant on anything, it will stick.
Step two: Attach one JBB 3mm brass dot design end cap to each end of a 2-foot long piece of SilverSilk 3mm gold-plated copper knit over gold-plated brass chain. Using nylon jaw pliers, clamp down over the chain for a tight fit. For help using SilverSilk, visit our SilverSilk resources section. Repeat this process with the JBB 3mm antique brass dot design end caps and a 2-foot long piece of SilverSilk 3mm bronze-plated copper knit over gunmetal-plated brass bead chain.
Step three: Attach one 6mm antique brass-plated open jump ring to each end cap, and lay your SilverSilk chains parallel to one another. Attach one jump ring from each chain to the hook portion of the Kabela Design antique brass triangular floral filigree hook and eye clasp using chain nose pliers, and the remaining two jump rings to the eye portion of the clasp. Step four: Attach the Kabela Design antique brass bail to the top of your pendant and center it on your chain. For help using bails, visit our Learning Center.
