Beach Pebbles Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Like a rocky shore wrapped with seaweed and sparkling shells, this necklace encompasses colorful elements that beautifully work together for an overall summer look. Wear this to a fun outdoor event to liven upmatch a simple wardrobe.
Step one: Add the Swarovski 14mm rivoli in Light Colorado Topaz inside the 14mm silver-plated rivoli setting. Simply slide the closed jump ring up to open the back, slide place the bicone rivoli inside and slide the jump ring down over the post to close. Attach it to one 925/10 silver-filled 6mm open jump ring. Watch our Handy Tip video to learn how to use a jump ring. Set aside for now.
Step two: Cut one piece of jewelry wire approximately 5.5 inches long. Attach one end to one jump ring using one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube. Read our Handy Tip on how to use a crimp tube if you need help.
Step three: String one TierraCast antique silver- 4mm rococo round heishi spacer, one Swarovski 6mm XILION bicone in Light Colorado Topaz and twelve Unicorne Beads dulce de leche mix boro glass teardrops onto the wire. Add the rivoli pendant from Step one and then create a mirror image. Finish the open end of jewelry wire as before with a second crimp tube and jump ring.
Step four: Cut two pieces of hand-dyed turquoise, lime and terracotta with copper metallic edges silk ribbon approximately 9 inches long. If you want to add or decrease the length of your necklace this can be easily done by adjusting the lengths of ribbon you use. Loop one end from each ribbon through its own jump ring and secure it with one 4x4mm sterling silver crimp tube.
Step five: Connect a second 4x4mm crimp tube and jump ring to the open ribbon ends. Attach the loop portion of the sterling silver small circle with curls cut out toggle clasp to one jump ring and the bar portion of the clasp to the other.
