Ancient cultures believed that wearing eye beads would protect them from a look meant to cause misfortune, and the dots on the beads in this design certainly resemble eyes.
Earrings
Step one:
Attach a sterling silver leverback with 4mm round peridot to a TierraCast® rhodium 1-inch bead bar link using a 3.55mm sterling silver open jump ring. String the following onto the bead bar link: a 7mm TierraCast® rhodium plain bead cap with 2.5mm hole, a Grace Lampwork metallic with wasabi dots roundel bead and a 10mm TierraCast® antique silver joy large hole bead. Set aside.
Step two:
String a 15x6mm lime green with patina finish dagger drop bead onto a 4.2mm sterling silver open jump ring. Repeat three times. Connect the four jump rings together to form a chain.
Step three:
Attach the first link in the chain you just created to the bead bar link using a 4.2mm jump ring.
Step four:
Repeat steps one through three to create the second earring.
Bracelet:
Step one:
Cut two 3-inch pieces of silver-plated curb chain. Set one piece aside.
Step two:
Connect one piece of the JBB silver-plated pewter round toggle clasp to the first link of a 3-inch chain using a 3.55mm sterling silver open jump ring. Connect the last link of the chain to the TierraCast® rhodium 1.25 inch bead bar link using a 4.2mm sterling silver open jump ring.
Step three:
String the following onto the bead bar link: a 7mm TierraCast® rhodium plain bead cap with 2.5mm hole, a Grace Lampwork metallic with wasabi dots roundel bead, a TierraCast® antique silver joy large hole bead, a wasabi roundel and a plain bead cap.
Step four:
Repeat Step two using the remaining chain and toggle clasp piece. Attach a pair of 15x6mm lime green with patina finish dagger drops to the jump rings on either side of the bead bar link using 4.2mm jump rings.
Necklace
Step one:
Attach a 3.55mm sterling silver open jump ring to the top hole of a TierraCast® rhodium 1.25-inch bead bar link. String the following onto the bar link: a 7mm TierraCast® rhodium plain bead cap with 2.5mm hole, a Grace Lampwork metallic with wasabi dots roundel bead, a 10mm TierraCast® antique silver joy large hole bead, a wasabi roundel and a plain bead cap. Set aside.
Step two:
String a 15x6mm lime green with patina finish dagger drop bead onto a 4.2mm sterling silver open jump ring. Repeat three times. Connect the four jump rings together to form a chain.
Step three:
Attach the first link in the chain you just created to the bottom of the bead bar link using a 4.2mm jump ring.
Step four:
Find the middle of the two-foot piece of silver-plated curb chain. Connect the jump ring at the top of the bead bar link to the middle of the chain. To finish the necklace, attach one piece of the JBB silver-plated pewter round toggle clasp to the last link on each end of the curb chain using 3.55mm jump rings.
