Follow the hottest earring trend with our Heart's a Flutter design. Feather earrings are in right now because they are lightweight while full of texture and detail. These earrings are quick and easy to make so you won't have to wait long to show off your trendy new style!
Step one: Choose a feather you would like to use; these can be purchased at craft stores or fishing supply locations. We chose dainty black and blue feathers with a hint of white. Apply a small amount of E6000 glue onto the quill of your feather and place it inside one silver-plated crimp end. Clamp down the crimp with chain nose pliers for a strong hold. Step two: Attach your crimp end to a 4.60mm sterling silver open jump ring. For help with jump rings, view our Handy Tip Video in the Learning Center. Connect two Swarovski 9mm briolette pendants in Crystal Golden Shadow to their own 6.85mm sterling silver open jump ring.
Step three: Connect your feather jump ring to the bottom center loop of the heart shaped chandelier and your pendant jump rings to either side loop. Attach one sterling silver earwire with gold-filled ball to the top loop of the heart chandelier using chain nose pliers.
