This flirty cocktail purse is perfect for your night on the town or a breakfast at Tiffany's! With rich gold sparkle and matching cabochon-style rhinestones, you have everything you need to design a one-of-a-kind accessory. Choose a basic clutch purse to work with and get started.
Step one:
Arrange the Swarovski SS16 hotfix cabochon flatbacks in Pearl Bronze and Deep Brown Pearl onto the purse in a desired pattern. We created a border along the top flap with Deep Brown Pearl flatbacks, leaving a space in the center, and a decorative display of Pearl Bronze flatbacks along the bottom portion of the purse. Warm up the BeJeweler Pro Ergonomic tool while you do this.
Step two:
Once you are satisfied with the arrangement, use the Bejeweler to set the flatbacks to the fabic. For help using the BeJeweler Pro tool, read our Handy Tip in the Learning Center. Glue the Swarovski 28x24mm cosmic flatback in Crystal Golden Shadow with E6000 glue to the center of the purse, placing it between the line of Deep Brown Pearl flatbacks. Allow glue to dry.
Step three:
Attach each end of the satin Hamilton gold-plated curb chain to a 10mm gold-plated jump ring. To learn how to open and close a jump ring, watch our Handy Tip video in the Learning Center. Connect each jump ring to the string handle inside the clutch by simply threading the open jump ring through the string. Close the jump rings.
