Curacao Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Warm up with a tropical treat when you wear this colorful multi-strand bracelet. The lovely peacock color palette is inspired by the vibrant lifestyle on the Caribbean island that shares this designs' name.
Step one: Cut a piece of silver-plated twisted link and textured oval link chain approximately six inches long and attach each end to one sterling silver oval jump ring. Watch our Handy Tip video to learn how to open and close jump rings. Connect one jump ring to the center loop on one half of the sterling silver 3-ring tube clasp.
Step two: Cut two strands of ZambaPro® 49 .019 30FT jewelry wire approximately ten inches long. Attach the end of one wire to the top loop of the 3-string clasp using a sterling 2x2mm crimp tube. For help with crimp tubes, read our Handy Tip in the Learning Center. Repeat for the second piece of jewelry wire, attaching it to the bottom loop on the clasp.
Step three: String one jewelry wire with one TierraCast® rhodium-plated pewter mini cube spacer EuroBead and three 6mm green iris druk beads. Then, string one TierraCast® rhodium-plated pewter large cube spacer EuroBead and three 8mm green iris druk beads. Repeat this three times, and then string one more large cube, three 6mm druks and one mini cube. Use a beadstopper to hold your beads on the jewelry wire while you repeat the process for the second strand.
Step four: Attach the open ends of the three strands to the other half of the clasp as you did previously, but make sure this half points the opposite direction of the first. This will ensure the bracelet closes correctly and the strands do not twist.
