Sugar Plum Bracelet Instructions Designed by Teri McCamish
Based on the playfully eerie "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy" in The Nutcracker, this braided bracelet features fun candy colors that are sure to delight any whimsical creature. Take just minutes to create this darling design!
Step one: Use a nipper tool to cut three 10-inch long pieces of jewelry wire. Attach one end of each strand to one half of the antique silver-plated brass small magnetic clasp using sterling 2x2mm crimp tubes. Watch our Handy Tip video on how to use crimp tubes and a bead crimper if you need help.
Step two: String the following pattern of beads onto one strand:
Four TOHO 1.5mm bead cubes in frosted silver-lined crystal
Two TOHO 1.5mm bead cubes in silver-lined teal
One TOHO 1.5mm bead cube in higher metallic grape
Two silver-lined teal bead cubes
Three frosted silver-lined crystal bead cubes
One 4mm daisy spacer
Three frosted silver-lined crystal
Two TOHO 3mm bead bugles in silver-lined emerald
One TOHO 1.5mm bead cube in silver-lined ruby
Two emerald bead bugles
Three silver-lined crystal
One daisy spacer
Three silver-lined crystal
Two TOHO 3mm bead bugles in higher metallic royal purple
One TOHO 8/0 bead round in frosted silver-lined lemon lime
Two metallic royal purple
Three silver-lined crystal
One daisy spacer
Three silver-lined crystal
Two TOHO 3mm bead bugles in silver-lined teal
One metallic grape
Create a mirror image for the remainder of the strand
Repeat this pattern for the other two strands. Use a bead stopper to hold the beads in place.
Step three: Gently twist the strands together and attach the open ends to the other half of the magnetic clasp as you did in Step one.
