Beach Gypsy Anklet Instructions Designed by Teri McCamish
Kick your shoes off and show off your foot fashion for summer! This delightful ankle bracelet features just enough color to liven up an outfit.
Step one: Cut one piece of 065 cable chain to fit around your ankle. We cut ours 10 ½ inches long to drape on the foot and allow for lots of movement.
Step two: Attach each sterling silver oval quality tag charm to the chain with one sterling silver 3.5x3mm 21 gauge oval jump ring. Watch our Handy Tip video if you need help with jump rings. Count links of the cable chain to make spacing the charms easier. We left three links between each tag, you could leave more space and use fewer charms. Be certain to attach the charms on the same side of the chain for them to hang properly.
Step three Connect two oval jump rings to the last link on each end of the chain. Attach the 7.8mm oval trigger clasp to the pair of jump rings on one end and the sterling silver medium closed jump ring to the pair of oval jump rings on the other end . Double jump rings were used in this design to keep the delicate appearance while insuring durability.
Step four: Thread the Swarovski 4mm faceted round in Mint Alabaster, the Swarovski 4mm round pearl in Pink Coral and the Swarovski 3mm round pearl in Coral onto their own sterling silver 24 gauge 1-inch head pin. Finish the headpins with a wrapped loop and attach them to the oval jump rings on the clasp end of the anklet. To keep in scale with the chain size a small lobster claw clasp was used, the wrapped dangles aid in handling the clasp.
