Magnetic beads are all the rage. Some people subscribe to their health benefits, some just like that you can make a versatile necklace with no clasp that stays in place! This design in simple to string and can be worn in a variety of ways.
Step one: Cut a length of ZambaPro 49 .019 jewelry wire to approximately 40 inches. On one end, string a crimp tube, and then run the wire through a 5mm daisy spacer. Pull the wire tight so the spacer stands on end, perpendicular to the crimp. Crimp the tube and cover with a sterling silver crimp tube cover. For instructions on how to use a crimp tube, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step two: The pattern for the necklace is simple: three fire polished two-tone rose/lilac beads, followed by a daisy spacer, a magnetic faceted oval, and another daisy spacer. On this necklace we repeated the pattern 32 times. If you want a longer necklace, just cut the wire longer and keep repeating the pattern.
Step three: When you have strung all of your beads, finish with three fire-polished and repeat the initial step of crimping the daisy spacer at the end. Trim the excess wire and you have a fun new necklace!
This can be worn as a lariat, a long necklace, doubled up for a choker, the possibilities are endless!
