Step one: String your silk cord through the fish pendant and center it. It is easier to string the cord before the bead strand. Do not attach it to the clasp yet, we will work with this later. Step two: Cut a length of Beadalon 19 .018 gold plated to approximately 24 inches. We use the gold-plated Beadalon because the silver colored wire shows up too clearly through the citrine beads, the gold is more subtle. Crimp one end of the wire to an outside loop on the 3 strand sterling silver round sun clasp set. String a 6mm Swarovski powder rose pearl followed by a 6mm rose and silver Swarovski roundelle, an 8mm powder rose pearl, a 12mm Swarovski light amethyst cosmic bead, another 8mm pearl, another 6mm roundelle and a citrine nugget. Add a roundelle, 8mm pearl, cosmic bead, 8mm pearl, roundelle and three more citrine nuggets. Follow with a roundelle, 8mm pearl, cosmic bead, 8mm pearl, roundelle and one citrine nugget. Repeat the last segment one more time, add a roundelle and a 6mm pearl and then string the Hill Tribe circular fish pendant, being careful not to pull the silk cord out of place. At this point, you will reverse the pattern until you reach the other end of the necklace and attach the wire to an outside loop on the other part of the clasp. Trim the excess wire. Step three: You can now decide how you want the cord to fall. If you want it wrapped loosely around the beads, you can do so before securing it to the clasp. When you have the length as you want it on one side, crimp it to a jump ring on the other outside loop of your clasp by flattening a 3x3mm crimp tube over the cord. It is best to work as close to the end of the cord as possible on the first side, so that you have one usable scrap after you have trimmed the silk. Wrap the other side of the cord as you would like it to hang, checking tension by trying it on, and crimp it to a jump ring on the other side of the necklace. Trim the excess cording.
