What do you do with all of those scraps of leftover chain? They are too expensive to just throw away. Recycle them into these great margarita charm earrings!
Step one: Cut chain to desired length. This example uses 1 ½ inches or ten links of the 060 sterling silver curb chain.
Step two: Attach it to the ear wire by opening the loop at the base of the wire, sliding the chain on and closing the loop again.
Step three: Attach the charm to the end of the wire in the same manner. Remember jump rings are to be opened by twisting the wires away from one another. Opening the circle will weaken the wire.
Step four: Put on your favorite sombrero and prepare to party!
