These endearing charms use just a few components and can display any color combination you choose. Use them to embellish household décor or dangle them from jewelry for a lovely result. Each charm requires a headpin, two seed beads, a bead cap and a round bead. Feel free to mix and match components or try different beads. We chose to use Swarovski round pearl beads for their smooth surface and lovely pearlescent luster. One Easy Step: To create a charm; thread a seed bead, a round bead, a bead cap and a seed bead onto a head pin and finish with a simple loop. Just make sure that you use bead caps that are the correct size for your beads. If you wish, you can use a head pin with a ball-end. We used a silver 2-inch ball-end head pin and forgo the bottom seed bead. We used the following bead with bead cap pairings: an 8mm Swarovski round pearl in Dark Grey with an antique brass bead cap, an 8mm Swarovski round pearl in Powder Green with a TierraCast® antique copper-plated radiant dome bead cap, an 8mm Swarovski round pearl in Bronze with a 9mm TierraCast® antique copper joy bead cap, a 7mm Swarovski round pearl in Brown with a sterling silver simple flower bead cap, an 8mm Swarovski round pearl in Bronze with a sterling silver domed twist cut out bead cap, an 8mm Swarovski round pearl in Copper with a TierraCast® rhodium-plated radiant dome bead cap, an 8mm Swarovski round pearl in Antique Brass with a 9mm TierraCast® antique silver joy bead cap and an 8mm Swarovski round pearl in Dark Green with a TierraCast® gold-plated radiant dome bead cap.
