Celebrate Father's Day with this simple bracelet. The dark braided leather gives it a masculine look and the granulated slider beads create an edgy feel. This makes a great gift for any occasion, and the special man in your life will appreciate a thoughtful homemade present.
Step one: Cut the brown 4mm spooled braided leather into three 7-inch strands using nylon jaw pliers and lay them parallel to one another. String the Bali silver sliders with large granulated bumps together onto the middle strand and center.
Step two: Use a pair of chain nose pliers to open up the U-shape ribbon end just enough to fit the leather ends. Apply a tiny dab of glue to one end of each of the three strands of leather. Insert the leather ends into the ribbon end and carefully close with a pair of nylon jaw pliers. The beads take up length on the center strand, so trim the two outer two strands of leather about 1/4 inches. This will allow the three strands to lay nicer together. Finish this end of the bracelet like the other end.
Step three: Attach a 1.25x5.0mm sterling silver open jump ring to one U-shape end and connect it to the jump ring on one piece of the sterling silver cylindrical magnetic clasp.
