Step one: Cut a foot long piece of 24 gauge silver non-tarnish Artistic Wire and string a Swarovski 6mm Cream round pearl in the center. Fold the two ends of the wire down to meet around half of the pearl and twist the ends together. Wrap the wire around the top of a hair pin and back up around itself for extra support. Trim as needed. Repeat this step to create as many simple pearl hair pins as you like.
Step two: Cut an 18 inch piece of Artistic Wire and thread a Swarovski 9mm Mauve asymmetrical pearl into the center. Fold the wire in half while holding the pearl and twist the wire together three to four times to keep the pearl tightly in the center. Repeat this step with both free ends of the wire, keeping the twists close to the center. Repeat again for a total of five pearl petals.
Step three: Thread a Swarovski 3mm round pearl in Light Creamrose onto the wire and work it into the center of the flower. Fold the ends of the wire into the center of the flower and twist. Cut a three inch piece of 6mm seafoam WireLace ribbon and twist the center. Twist the ends of the WireLace to create leaf shapes and then pierce the WireLace with the ends of your wire and thread the WireLace up to the flower.
Step four: At this point you can either secure your flower to a hair pin or add a sprig of bicones to the flower display. To do this, add three Swarovski 3mm XILION bicones in Crystal Moonlight to your wire. Fold the wire so the bicones cluster together and twist the wire to create a stem. You can create one or even two sprigs of bicones. We made each flower slightly different for more variety.
Step five: Wrap one end of your wire around one side of the top of a hair pin and wrap the other end around the other side. Twist the remaining ends of the wire together and tuck them up into the center of the flower. Repeat steps two through five to create as many flower hair pins as you wish.
