Jack Pumpkin Halloween Ornament Instructions Designed by Cheri Carlson
This endearing "Jack Pumpkin" ornament can be constructed in minutes and will become a lasting Halloween decoration your family will treasure for years to come. Hang this portable ornament anywhere around the house or dangle it from the rear view mirror in your car.
Step one: To create the ornament, cut an 8-inch piece of 22 gauge copper wire and make a wrapped loop at one end. Thread the following items onto the wire in this order: one 6mm fire-polished bead in hyacinth, one large roundelle resin bead in salmon, one light orange round stoneware spacer, one gunmetal-plated pewter snowflake link, one 8mm fire-polished bead in hyacinth, one gunmetal-plated pewter abstract framed round link, one stoneware jack-o-lantern Halloween bead, one gunmetal-plated pewter abstract framed round link and one 6mm fire-polished bead. Finish with a wrapped loop.
Step two: Next, construct the leaf dangles. We used the following leaf beads: one Czech glass wavy leaf in brown tiger's eye, one Czech glass medium leaf in topaz ab and one Czech glass medium leaf in burnt orange. Thread a two-inch piece of copper wire through each leaf bead, wrap twice to secure it and finish the other end of the wire with a simple loop. Attach each leaf dangle to the bottom loop on the ornament.
Step three: Thread a 9-inch piece of black 3/8-inch organza ribbon through the top loop on the ornament and tie the ends together in a knot.
