| What child doesn’t love sweets? Give them the gift of sweets with no cavities with this adorable charm bracelet made with sterling silver and crystal charms!
Step one: Cut a length of chain to fit the child’s wrist. In this example we used approximately five inches. The bracelet should be loose enough to “jangle” without being so loose that it will easily catch on things.
Step two: Attach a 6mm spring ring to one end of the heart chain. On the other end attach a 6mm silver-plated split ring. For step-by-step instructions on how to attach a split ring, please see the Handy Tips section of our Learning Center.
Step three: We will use split rings to attach all of the charms. They are much sturdier than jump rings when making children’s jewelry. Lay your bracelet out and count out the links. Divide that by the number of charms you are going to attach and space them out that number of links. For this example we left five links between each charm. Simply attach a split ring to the charm and then to the link on the bracelet. Continue until all the charms are attached.
Step four: For a final touch our designer added three Swarovski bicone crystals to the bracelet by stringing them on a 1 ½ inch sterling silver, 22 gauge head pin and finishing with the wrapped loop technique.
