How to thread a small-eyed needle

Up | Previous | Next
This is a simple time and sanity saver. It will leave you more time for those wonderful stitching projects!
HANDY TIP
When threading those hard-to-thread needles, simply hold the thread tightly between your fingers, as close to the end as possible. If you are doing it right, almost none of the thread will be showing between your fingers (see photo). Then with your other hand, simply bring the eye of the needle down over the thread. It is much easier than trying to do it the traditional way of thread through needle. Once you have the end of the thread through the eye, just pull it to the desired length.
