Print this Learning Center IdeaUp | Previous | Next

STEP ONE: choosing the chains

Select the chain that you would most like to use in your design.

STEP TWO: choosing beads and charms

Browse through our collection of beads and charms for your design.

STEP THREE: choosing some spacers and a clasp

Browse through our sterling silver and pewter spacers to give your bracelet a beautiful accent. Select the clasp that will give your design the perfect finishing touch.

STEP FOUR: choosing findings

Select the jump rings, head pins and eye pins for your design.

STEP FIVE: purchase tools

It is easier to open and close a jump ring with two chain nose pliers when you attach a charm or a small pendant. You will also need round nose pliers to make a loop for the head pin or eye pin if you don't have a bail and a cutter. Select the tools that will work best for your design. A Chain Sta is a very useful tool to keep the chain in place when you attach your charm or dangles.

STEP SIX: assemble your design

Follow the instructions in this video for help with opening and closing jump rings. For making dangles, you will need to make a single loop or a wrapped loop.
