This Earth Day, celebrate the planet we call home by creating this stunning necklace that features a complementary green and blue color palette alongside an artful depiction of our world.
Step One: Choose an image you would like to use as your focal piece. Cut the image to fit the antique silver-plated pewter large framed circle pendant. Place the image in the bottom of the pendant and pour in enough Magic-Glos™ to fill the frame. Set the pendant under your UV lamp for approximately 15 minutes or until cured. Be careful to not touch the glossy part of the pendant until it is fully cured.
Step Two: On a 1-inch head pin, string an 8mm glass roundel in jet AB and a Toho 6/0 higher-metallic round bead in teal green iris. String the head pin through one of the largest circles on the chain, add another roundel to the head pin, trim the end of the head pin to 1/8 to 1/4 inches and bend the end of the head pin using your chain nose pliers to keep it closed. We rolled the end over twice to form a head large enough to stop the roundel. Repeat six times, placing the head pins into every other large circle in the chain.
Step Three: Using a jump ring, attach the pendant to the center of the chain. Remove any links necessary to even the chain, and attach the antique pewter bumpy toggle to the ends of the chain using a sterling silver open jump ring.
