This wonderful candy cane pewter bookmark is embellished with a flurry of enameled sterling silver and crystal snowflake charms. It is quick and easy to make and sure to impress! Step one: Cut a length of chain to approximately 1½ inches. As long as your chain is big enough to fit the jump rings through, it is not important what chain you use, so this is a great project to use up leftover pieces of chain from other projects. Attach the chain to the bookmark using a heavy gauge open jump ring.

Step two: Using sterling silver open jump rings, attach the snowflake charms to the chain at about three link intervals. Play with the spacing to get a look you like. That's it! In just a couple of minutes, you will have a fun gift to give to your favorite reader!
