Hidden Lagoon Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cheri Carlson
Get washed away in the hypnotizing combination of blue and green in this bracelet that has all the beauty of an enchanted lagoon and even includes a small fish charm for an added aquatic feel. Step One: Cut a piece of 1oz silver bracelet memory wire that is approximately 1.5 coils long. Finish one end of the wire with a simple loop. Step Two: On a gold-filled 1.5-inch head pin, string a 6mm Swarovski faceted round in emerald AB, a strand of memory wire using the simple loop, an 8mm Swarovski faceted round in indicolite, a strand of memory wire, an 8mm Swarovski faceted round in emerald AB, a strand of memory wire and a 6mm Swarovski faceted round in indicolite. Finish the head pin with a simple loop. Step Three: To stretch out your memory wire, which will allow you to string your beads more easily, you'll need to find something round to wrap it around. Anything round that is slightly larger than the wire will work. We used a large spice jar. Wrap the three strands of wire around your object and then you can begin stringing. Step Four: On the bottom strand, string an 8mm indicolite round and an 8mm emerald round. On the middle strand, string two 8mm indicolite rounds, on the top strand string an 8mm indicolite round and an 8mm Swarovski round. String a three-hole gold-plated spacer bar onto all three strands. Step Five: On the bottom strand string, two 8mm indicolite rounds, an 8mm emerald rounds, a Czech glass roundel in aqua, beige, picasso and an 8mm indicolite round. On the center strand, string an 8mm emerald round, a Czech glass roundel, an 8mm indicolite round, an 8mm emerald round and an 8mm indiolite round. On the top strand, string a Czech glass roundel, an 8mm emerald round, two 8mm indicolite rounds and an 8mm emerald round. String a spacer bar onto all three strands. Step Six: On the bottom strand, string an 8mm indicolite round, two 8mm emeralds rounds, an 8mm indicolite round, an 8mm emerald round and a Czech glass roundel. On the middle strand, string an 8mm emerald round, an 8mm indicolite round, a Czech glass roundel, an 8mm emerald round, an 8mm indicolite round and an 8mm emerald round. On the top strand, string a an 8mm indicolite round, an 8mm emerald round, an 8mm indicolite round, an 8mm emerald round, a Czech glass roundel, and an 8mm indicolite round. String a spacer bar onto all three strands. Step Seven: On the bottom strand, string an 8mm emerald round, an 8mm indicolite round, an 8mm emerald round, a Czech glass roundel and an 8mm indicolite round. On the middle strand, string an 8mm indicolite round, a Czech glass roundel, an 8mm emerald round, an 8mm indicolite round and an 8mm emerald round. On the top strand, string an 8mm emerald round, an 8mm indicolite round, a Czech glass roundel, an 8mm emerald round and an 8mm indicolite round. String a spacer bar onto all three strands. Step Eight: On the bottom strand string an 8mm emerald round, an 8mm indicolite round and a clear rubber earwire clutch. On the center strand, string two 8mm indicolite rounds and an earwire clutch. The clutch will keep your beads in place while you make the simple loops. On the top strand, string an 8mm emerald round, an 8mm indicolite round and an earwire clutch. Remove the wire from whatever you wrapped it around. Remove the earwire clutch on the bottom wire and finish the wire by creating a simple loop. Repeat twice to finish the other two strands. Step Nine: On a head pin, string a 6mm emerald round, the bottom strand of wire, an 8mm emerald round, the center strand of wire, an 8mm indicolite round, the top strand of wire and a 6mm indicolite round. Finish the headpin with a simple loop. Step Ten: Attach the 18mm Swarovski fish pendant to the head pin from step nine using a gold-filled open jump ring. String a 6mm emerald AB round and a Czech glass roundel on a head pin. Attach to the head pin from step two using a wrapped loop.
