Step one: Cut a length of the antique silver-plated brass curb chain approximately 17 inches long. Cut another length of the curb chain approximately 7 inches long.
Step two: String a Swarovski 6mm crystal globe bead in Peridot onto a sterling silver 20 gauge 3-inch head pin. Slip the head pin through the third link from the left end of the shorter chain. Next, string on a Swarovski 8mm faceted round in Sapphire. Measure 6 1/2 inches into the longer chain and thread your head pin through the link in that position on the chain. Add a Swarovski 10mm round pearl in Turquoise to the head pin. Attach a Swarovski rhodium-plated navette charm with crystal to the end of the head pin by creating a wrapped loop. See our Handy Tip for more instruction on creating wrapped loops.
Step three: Repeat the pattern from step two to keep adding to your necklace. When adding the chain lengths to the head pin, count three links over from the last head pin and thread your head pin through the third link. Repeat until you've used all of your beads.
Step four: Attach the ends of your shorter chain to the long length of chain using 45mm gunmetal-plated 21 gauge open jump rings. Take a look at our Jump Ring Handy Tip Video to learn how to open and close jump rings. Add a 4.5mm jump ring to one end of your necklace. Add a 6x15mm stainless steel oval trigger clasp to the other end of your necklace using another 4.5mm jump ring.
