"am a beginning beader & bought this to try and 'extend' a beautiful, large 14k yellow gold figaro bracelet that's a bit too tight. figured for the price it was worth it rather than taking it to a jeweler for a $$$$ cost.
i am so pleased. the clasp itself is very well-made and heavy enough to "fit" with the "real" gold so the bracelet doesn't twist around my wrist. the color is a perfect match! not enough time to rate the plating quality, but i sure can buy a load of these for what a jeweler would charge, particularly at the cost of gold! and the 'repair' only took me a couple minutes.
