Glittery Flowers Get Well Card Project

Summertime is perfect for this mommy and me project. Our scrap pad to go and all ocassion card quotables make it easy for your kids to create special greetings. They will need your help with the glue though. We used a "Get Well" wish, but you can make several cards to have on hand and then tuck whatever wish you like into the pocket. Step one: Using a scrap pad to go - chocolate neopolitan, make a card. We made ours 5 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches. For the inside of the card, cut two squares of contrasting paper approximately 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. Attach one square to each inside section using terrifically tacky tape. Using floral cardstock die-cuts decorate to your liking. Step Two: On the front of the card, arrange your die-cuts in a pleasing pattern. We used a large flower die-cut as a pocket for our message, tacking 3/4 of the way around with terrifically tacky tape. Step three: To tuck into our pocket, we chose our message from our all occasion card quotables sticker pad. With a piece of organza ribbon, string a charm onto the center and tie a knot. Tie onto tag. Embellish the front with a variety of Swarovski margarita beads using E6000 Glue.
