Texture and balance are what this piece is all about! We paired weighty, significant components with a more lightweight, airy chain to come up with this striking necklace design.
Step one: For the drop pendant thread the porcelain puffed rectangle peacock feather bead onto the 2½-inch head pin. Finish with a simple loop. For help making simple loops please visit the Handy Tips section in the Learning Center. Connect the loop to a 2-inch eye pin.
Step two: On the eye pin thread a CRYSTALLIZED™ 12mm antique brass pearl, the silver double wire wrapped rectangle bead, and another 12mm brass pearl. Finish with a simple loop. Set aside.
Step three:: On an eye pin thread a CRYSTALLIZED™ 6mm copper pearl, a 14mm antique brass pearl and another copper pearl. Finish with a simple loop. Repeat.
Step four:: Cut a four ring section of gunmetal-plated textured circle link chain. Working left to right connect one of the pearl sections from step three to the inside of the third ring. Repeat to mirror the pattern.
Step five: Link three sterling silver oval jump rings together and use them to connect the two circle link chain sections together. Dangle the peacock feather drop pendant from the center jump ring.
Step six: Use a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube to crimp an 8-inch piece of ZambaPro 49 .019 jewelry wire to an oval jump ring. On the jewelry wire alternate copper pearls with CRYSTALLIZED™ 5mm pearl light green pearls for a total length of 5 inches. Use a crimp tube to crimp the remaining wire to one end of the sterling silver square vine toggle. Use the oval jump ring to connect the pearl strand to one of the circle links on one side of the necklace. Repeat for the other side of the necklace.
