Freedom Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cheri Carlson
Show off your patriotism with this fun bracelet. Perfect for the Fourth of July, it is understated enough to be worn throughout the year. For other patriotic-themed elements see our list of alternate components.
Step One: Cut a one-inch piece of 090 long rollo chain. Repeat eight times.
Step Two: Attach one piece of chain to the front of a 25x12.5mm rectangle link in blue by connecting it on both sides with an 8.0mm sterling silver open jump ring. For help with jump rings visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Repeat. Set aside.
Step Three: Attach one piece of chain to the front of a 25x12.5mm rectangle link in red by connecting it on both sides with an 8.0mm open jump ring. Attach a sterling silver domed star cut out charm to the chain using a 4.05mm sterling silver open jump ring. Attach a sterling silver star charm to the chain using a 4.05mm open jump ring. Set aside.
Step Four: Connect one end of three pieces of chain to a single 8.0mm open jump ring. Connect a single 8.0mm open jump ring to the other end of the three pieces of chain. Repeat. Set aside.
Step Five: Assemble the bracelet from left to right, attaching the components in this order: bar end of the star toggle clasp, 6x4mm sterling silver oval jump ring, chain section from step four, blue link from step two, 8.0mm open jump ring, red link from step three, 8.0mm open jump ring, blue link from step two, chain section from step four, star end of the clasp.
