We mixed and matched butterflies, birds and hearts for this easy design. But you can choose pieces to personalize your own style. Step one: Cut two pieces of chain approximately 15 inches long. We used antique copper-plated, large circle link chain for one side of our necklace and antique copper-plated, large squares and ovals chain for the other side. Link together five 6mm antique copper-plated open jump rings. Link the two pieces of chain together with these links to make one long chain. Step two: For our focal point we chose the large copper cross with heart center and made a bail for it to hang from using a 5 inch piece of Soft Flex, six 8/0 Toho bead triangles and a 2x2mm copper crimp tube, connecting the two loose ends of the chain together with it. For the copper heart bead, use the 2-inch 21 gauge copper head pin and make a wrapped loop. For instructions on How to Make a Wrapped Loop, please see the Handy Tips section. Step three: Attach 6mm antique copper-plated open jump rings to your pendants and charms, and arrange them on your necklace. Have fun with this part and express your individuality.
