Flowers on Ice Necklace Instructions Our designer combined the Hill Tribe silver large flower picture pendant with Swarovski light sapphire bicones and matte crystal druks to add a cool look to those hot summer outfits. Step one: Cut a length of ZambaPro™ 49 .019 jewelry wire to approximately 17 inches (or two inches longer than what will comfortably fit the wearer). Attach the wire to the heart end of the Hill Tribe stamped heart toggle using a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube. For detailed instructions on how to use a crimp tube, please see the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Step two: Begin by stringing a Thai silver cube to cover the crimp tube, follow that with a 5mm Swarovski faceted bi-cone in light sapphire AB, then a 6mm matte crystal druk. From there you reverse the pattern by stringing another 5mm bi-cone followed by a Hill Tribe silver cube bead. Repeat the pattern until you have strung almost half of the strand. In this example we repeated the entire pattern (cube to cube) 10 times. Instead of the final cube, you string the pendant. Step three: Reverse the pattern from the pendant back toward the other end of the wire. Your patterns should match up perfectly. When you reach the final cube, attach the other end of the wire to the bar end of the clasp using a crimp tube. Make sure to run the tail of your wire back through the cube bead before trimming it off. This is just one idea for this versatile pendant! Try stringing it with your favorite gemstone beads, pearls, or crystal rounds. Change the color to match your mood. The important thing is that you have fun with your designs! NOTE: This is a rather short choker-style necklace, if you want to add beads to lengthen it, one section of the pattern (two cubes, two crystals, one druk) adds approximately ½ inch of length.
