Flower & Butterfly Necklace

This fun summer necklace is a great way to practice your basic wire working skills. You may want to review How to make a Simple Loop in the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center before beginning this necklace. Step one: Create the dangles before assembling the necklace. The center link consists of a 4mm Czech fire polished green AB bead strung onto a 2 inch eye pin followed by a 5mm light peach Swarovski bicone, a 6mm padparadscha Swarovski bicone, light peach bicone and a green AB fire polish. Finish the link with a simple loop. On one end of the link add a sterling silver butterfly charm, on the other end attach a sterling silver daisy link. You will also need two links each of the following: A 5mm Swarovski padparadscha bicone, 2mm seamless round sterling silver bead, and another padparadscha bicone on a head pin with a simple loop on top attached to a sterling silver daisy link. A 5mm Swarovski light peach bicone, 2mm seamless round sterling silver bead, and another light peach bicone on a head pin with a simple loop on top attached to a sterling silver daisy link. A Czech fire polished green AB bead, 2mm seamless round sterling silver bead, and another light peach bicone on a head pin with a simple loop on top attached to a sterling silver daisy link. A single green AB bead on a head pin with a simple loop and a daisy link attached. A single 5mm padparadscha bicone on a head pin with a simple loop and a daisy link attached. Step two: Attach 2.8mm open jump rings to the top of all the daisy links so that you can attach them to the chain. Step three: Cut a length of chain to approximately 15 inches in length (if you want a longer necklace, just cut more chain, it will not affect the steps). Find the center of the chain and attach the longest dangle. From there work your way out five links in both directions and attach the two bead green dangles, then five more links and the two bead padparadscha dangles, five more links and the light peach two bead dangles, five links the single green dangle and finally the final padparadscha dangle on the end. Step four: Attach the pearl clasp with 2.8mm open jump rings.
