The BeadSmith Smoke Gray Fireline - 50 Yards (6LB Test)
New Smoke Gray Fireline is here by popular demand. This pre-waxed cord is braided and made of highly durable material. Ultra-light rays or sunlight will not affect this material, so your design will never feel the need to be shy in public! It has been noted by many beaders as the strongest fiber per diameter ever created. This spool contains 50 yards of material and is rated for use with up to 6 pounds of resistance. This particular spool also comes in a 4 pound version if you're looking for something a little lighter. The gray coloring is wonderful for designs using darker components. If using light crystals, keep a Crystal Fireline on hand as well! This versatile stringing material should be a staple in your beading box.

Just took up seed bead stitching - I made a tubular herringbone bracelet w/ this thread - very easy to thread even w/ size 12 needles!

Strong and Easy to UseJanuary 18, 2011
Fire Line is my first choice in bead weaving projects. The line is easy to work with, resists knotting, flows through my beads like butter and I don't have the fear that crystals will cut my line while mid-project. The quality far surpasses that of any other beading filament I have ever used before. Sure, it is a little more expensive than other beading materials, but Fire Line is such a pleasure to use and so much more reliable than the others on the market, I believe it is worth the extra expense for those special projects.

The best beading tread.October 5, 2010
Fireline is, in my opinion, the best tread to use.
It is strong and does not stretch.
I use it for everything but stringing.

Absolute favorite beading threadSeptember 6, 2010
Fireline is absolutely my most favorite beading thread. It threads the needle very readily, is very strong and keeps your work nice and snug. Fire line knots much less frequently than other threads and if it does knot, the knots are very easily undone. Fireline also provides the beaded work with just the right amount of body, yet provides flexibilty and stength. I find that the grey Fireline blends well with nearly all beads except the very lightest and crystal clear ones. I keep both the grey and crystal Fireline on hand at all times.

love FireLineAugust 21, 2010
I like using this thread when working with Swarvoski5301 & 5328 4mm biconne beads; using right angle weave. This thread "locks" these beads together; not having to concern myself with over all tightness of piece.
I mostly use with black outside colors to hide the weave on the ends.
I also like to use when making spiral designs.
CAUTION: If using in a weave pattern; watch out for using too much tension. You can not go back and loosen-up the weave. Unless of course you untighten the whole weave back to the "too tight" stiching.

LOVE this line!May 19, 2010
Strong, thin, non-stretchable line that looks and works great in dark toned necklaces and bracelets. 50 yards goes a long way, though I always have an extra spool on hand just in case I run out -- definitely a "staple (item) in my beading box."

FirelineMay 15, 2010
I found this thread to be excellent. It made my work so much easier since it slide through the needle without knotting up, I am new to seed weaving and I strongly recommend this product on your more expensive seed bead projects
