FirelineJanuary 28, 2014
`First time I have ever used Fireline. I definitely like how easy it is to thread and use. However, when adjusting my beading project, it broke. Will continue to use it and hopefully not pull it quite so tight so as to avoid any more breakage.

reiiableJuly 31, 2013
I use this with bigger beads, sometimes 11's when I know that I'll be going through the beads many, many times. It makes things much easier. I also always use Thread Heaven with it. I'd love to find this and bigger sizes in color. I tried to dye the thread as per instructions but I found that the dye made the thread stiff and hard to use. It also ran off the thread. Dyeing was a total failure.

Great for beaded leather cuffsApril 25, 2013
I started using Fireline a couple of months ago. I used several other stringing products but will only use Fireline in smoke and crystal...love it. When I make the beaded cuffs I use a 30 foot length strung on a beading needle to a 15 foot length and have not had any problem with tangles!

I love this string. It's strong, and it doesn't shred. It does seem to knot/tangle at times.

A good product.December 14, 2011
This is extremely easy to work with. It is easy to thread. The stiffness makes it easy to work with and makes a nice, tight stitch. It is strong and results in a sturdy woven product. It is, however, not transparent and tends to be too visible.

most necessary for beadwork patternsAugust 16, 2010
I cant think of any product more necessary in the beader's toolbox. I actually start to panic if i start running low and always buy in both smoke and crystal so i'm never limited but not having the right one for my projects. I've never had it split or fray while beading, It slides easily thru the needle and is a complete joy to work with. The 6lb. test size has never let me down in holding up to the weight of what ever i bead. Some beading goddess really was inspired to invent Fireline!

Fireline is TerrificJuly 26, 2010
Fireline thread is just wonderful and I try to use it exclusively. It does not require pre-waxing and I find that it does not ravel.

I am a beginner to seed beading and I am able to correct my mistakes without the thread raveling and I am able to pull it tightly.

This is my favorite thread. Unless much fluidity is needed this is the only thread I use in all of my off-loom weaving. Why? Because of its thinness, strength, ease of use and lack of stretch. I use all three colors.

All around versitial threadMay 18, 2010
Back in the 1980's I preffered NYMO F thread.
Can not find it much anymore.
The bead shop where I used to buy my beads were urging me to try FireLine. Since I bought it here at ArtBeads, I seldom use any other thread.
Been a satisfied customer for about a year.
Do not use when on the Loom or weaving necklaces.

Love this productApril 3, 2010
I have been bead weaving for over 20 years.
I make necklaces, braclets and earrings.
This is a very durable product and user friendly.
I still use NYMO D mostly with B; when working on the loom.
I thought about trying peyote stich rings with fire line. But I didn't because of the extra extremes that hands come in contact with.
Been using fireLine about a year now.
Have not had a problem.

DO NOT use for ringsSeptember 15, 2009
I have been taught how to weave with fireline. Was told that it was strong and a great material to use. Though I have not yet had a problem with bracelets and necklaces, I have made many rings that have all begun to fall apart. I regret making them with this product, since I am losing face with my clients and have to reimburse them for their rings.

Great Stuff!May 28, 2009
I finally gave in and tried it, and... I love it! It is very easy to thread and doesn't fray or tangle. Absolutely amazing! However, I will say that it's a bit stiffer than other stringing materials I have used, but not enough to make that big of a difference. I won't be using it in all of my projects, because softer threads tend to lay better in some of them, but I'll certainly always keep it on hand and use it in many of my projects. Everyone should try it!

A beaders sliced bread!December 19, 2008
I love this product! Since I have discovered Fireline, I just don't want to bead with anything else. The range of ply's is great, it's tough, doesn't break easily, and it's user friendly. Wonderful!
