Add a festive mood to your attire with these lovely earrings. The cool sparkle of sterling silver and deep blue crystal is mellowed by hints of gold from dangling snowflakes. Use these earrings as a quick way to dress up an outfit for a winter event.
Step one: Thread the following beads in order onto the sterling silver 22 gauge 2-inch eye pin: one sterling silver 6mm round stardust bead with 1.6mm hole, one Swarovski 3700 8mm margarita sapphire bead, one 4mm bright daisy spacer, one sapphire bead and one daisy spacer.
Step two: Use the remaining wire on the headpin to form a wrapped loop around the loop on the sterling silver earwire with 3mm stardust bead. To see detailed instructions on how to make a wrapped loop, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step three: Use a sterling silver open jump ring (0.89 x 9.0mm) to attach the Swarovski 6704 20mm snowflake crystal AB pendant to the loop on the eye pin. Repeat steps one through three to create the second earring, making sure that the back of the snowflake faces the opposite direction of the first earring you created.
