LOVE THESE END CAPSOctober 27, 2015
I was looking for something new for the ends of my leather cord bracelets and I found these end caps. I love them! They provide a well-finished look to my pieces. I put a dab of glue on the tip of my cord(s), place it inside the end cap and close. Once the glue is set, I have tugged hard at the ends and they definitely stay in place. One CAVEAT: you really have to be careful when you close these caps. The material is very soft and you will mar them with your pliers (see the cap on the first bracelet in my photo - which I will have replace). I now use a piece of soft cotton folded twice around the caps, to close them. The photo shows the end of my bracelets before attaching the clasps. The lilac bracelet was made with three strands of 1mm cotton cord. The turquoise bracelet was made with one strand of 2mm leather cord and two strands of 1mm leather cord. The red bracelet was made with three strands of 1mm leather cord.
