For years women have strived to work their office look into an evening out by removing a jacket and applying bold lipstick. Well this year, you are in luck, because night wear is coming to the office! Winter is all about elegant fabrics like lace and satin. You will see layers of feminine ruffles and flowing skirts. Think Victorian extravagance with a chic edge. This style loves to be paired with filigree and chain in silver or gold. Chandelier earrings just continue to get bigger and bolder, pearls and Swarovski crystals will be everywhere!
Urban Harvest
The other style that will transition easily from autumn to winter is a bold mix of rich colors such as royal purple, turquoise, teal, copper and coral. You will see all of these colors paired with brown and presented in bold, geometric patterns and layers like we haven’t see in two decades. When you are choosing colors, think of the 80’s with a matte finish. When it comes to jewelry, picture a pirate’s bounty; big and bold are keywords for this season. Go for the oversized pendants, long chains, and big, chunky beads. Jewelry simply can’t be overdone this season, so have fun!
