The combination of the microfiber suede with the brown shell tribal pendant creates a simple men's necklace that is not only easy to make, but also stylish and fashionable. The tribal pendant also adds a handcrafted element that gives this necklace a touch of artisan appeal.
Step one: Cut 24-inches of ultra microfiber brown suede. Connect the brown shell rectangle pendant to a 1.0 x 9.0mm sterling silver open jump ring. Use the jump ring to slide the pendant onto the suede.
Step two: Connect the sterling silver egg trigger clasp to a 1.0 x 6.10mm sterling silver jump ring. Slide the jump ring onto the suede and fold back a half-inch of material. Use flat nose pliers with a polishing cloth to close the suede loop by flattening a sterling silver 4x4mm crimp tube just below the end of the suede.
Step three: Slide a 1.0 x 9.0mm jump ring onto the other end of the suede and close the suede loop by flattening another sterling silver crimp tube.
